The shelf
Metal Slinky
The steel coil that started it all in 1945 — in Jr., Classic and Giant sizes, single or boxed in sets.

Every metal Slinky on this shelf is wound from flat steel wire into the same coil Richard James first watched tumble off a shelf in 1943. The Classic is 2.75 inches across and sits in a palm; the Jr. is 1.5 inches and fits a pocket; the Giant is 3.5 inches wide and takes the tallest steps in the house.
Pick a single for a quick hello to the stairs, a 3-pack when a race is coming, or the 5-pack of Jr. coils when there are party bags to fill. The black Collector's Edition is the one to keep on the desk.
