It's Fun!
Bought it for my 4-year-old Grandkid, who happens to live on a hilltop, with a long set of steps leading from the front door all the way down to the street level. Thing makes it.. All. The. Way! ..... Keeps the Kid - and all the neighbor kids too - occupied for hours. However, I tried it out first on my carpeted steps, going down from the second-floor bedrooms, and it didn't work past one step.

Awesome, classic toy.
This is an awesome, classic toy. Gave as a gift and was well-received. Still metal, not plastic junk, and still Made in the USA! It does have fewer coils than the original we had as kids, which is too bad, and does affect ability to go down an entire flight of stairs. Still goes down half-flights fine. However, giving all 5 stars for being Made in the USA and being quality metal, as well as affordable.

Great slinky but like any slinky careful not to get kinks
the metal gives it a cool sound and speed. love it. just try your best to not get kinks or stretch it too much cuz there is no real solution to it. we tried some hacks from youtube, its better but not the same. my son loves it very much
